SOMEONE clever once said 'Beauty is artifice.' Designers have taken this motto to heart this season. There is a plethora of fabulous fake furs hitting the stores right now, which pleases everyone (including anti-fur activists).

Favourites at the moment seem to run towards the obviously fake leopard skins in crayola box colours, to the more demure imitation minks, or 'finks,' if you will.

With so much to choose from, there's bound to be a little impostor out there to suit any taste and budget. So, go ahead, be a big phoney . . . just remember, a little leopard goes a long way.
