Bare all

As warmer weather finally takes hold, Nine West has come up with a selection of open-toed platforms and espadrilles for spring-summer. The combination of white straps, hessian heel and tan buckle seen on the Braxton espadrille (right; HK$1,100) offers an understated femininity while the Jumpgirl platform (below right; HK$1,100) goes over the top with a bold print and tan strap. Nine West is at IFC Mall, Central, tel: 2234 7336.

Fairy tales

Arte Madrid has embraced the whimsical and looked to spring flowers and mystical fairies as inspiration for its Hadas de las Flores collection of rings, necklaces, bracelets and earrings. The blue and white stones of the Zinnia earrings (left; HK$2,300) mimic fluttering wings while the yellow and white Ranunculo ring (above left; HK$1,800) embodies the regal golds of the Ranunculo nymph. The collection is available at Lee Gardens Two, Causeway Bay, tel: 2576 8782.

Pack light

Kipling's Sunset View series of spring-summer handbags offers a simple yet elegant touch of this season's 1970s trend. The Lottie leather bag (above right; HK$1,890) comes with a strap that can be removed for an easy transition into evening and the Tanishia (below right; HK$1,390) day bag combines soft, pastel tones with edgy zipper hardware. Kipling is at Fashion Walk, Causeway Bay, tel: 2953 6188.

Wild West

Ralph Lauren has come over all cowboy this spring-summer, with suede fringing, lace frills and big belt buckles featuring heavily on the catwalk. Rather than embracing a head-to-toe look, we love the casual simplicity of the pairing of a white tunic (HK$8,090) and suede waistcoat (both left; HK$32,290) or a light, silk jumpsuit (far left; HK$11,650) with chunky leather accessories. Ralph Lauren is at The Landmark, Central, tel: 2869 0388.
