The Christian Zheng Sheng Association says the government is dragging its feet over the group's hopes of taking over an unused secondary school on Lantau Island.

'I get the impression that the government is using delaying tactics on us,' the association's chief executive, Jacob Lam Hay-sing, said. Christian Zheng Sheng College wants to use the Heung Yee Kuk Southern District Secondary School in Mui Wo.

Lam said Commissioner for Narcotics Sally Wong Pik-yee recently suggested the school take over the old Vietnamese holding camp on Green Island, but then later suggested it apply for funding to improve its current campus.
