The Kerry Hotel Pudong, which opened in February, offers Shanghai's largest portfolio of hotel meeting and banqueting facilities, with more than 7,300 square metres of space. Its 2,230-square-metre ballroom is also the largest pillarless hotel ballroom in the city.

Kerry Hotel Pudong is the first of a new five-star hotel brand by Shangri-La Hotels & Resorts. The 31-storey hotel is located in the new Kerry Parkside complex at the heart of Pudong, offering 574 guestrooms and suites.

According to George Wee, general manager of Kerry Hotel Pudong, MICE business will account for about 25 to 30 per cent of the hotel's revenue in the short term.
