HK Energy in talks to buy into wind farms

Hong Kong Energy (Holdings), a developer of wind farms on the mainland, is in talks to invest in plants already operating or under development in Inner Mongolia and Hebei provinces, with annual generating capacities of 450 megawatts (MW). It also plans to install up to 2,300 MW of new projects elsewhere on the mainland, says managing director Bruce Yung Pak-keung.
