Trainer Andreas Schutz handed apprentice Vincent Ho Chak-yiu a rare compliment after King Of Scots landed his third win for the season. 'I was able to half trick the handicaps by using Vincent's seven-pound claim and happily he rode the horse just as well as Douglas Whyte did winning on him last time,' Schutz said after King Of Scots wore down Tom's Eighth by a neck. The five-year-old has done his job for the term with three wins from his past four and Schutz reserved judgment on whether there was a fourth win in the gelding. 'He's in good form and got all favours so it's questionable, but perhaps we could try to get a bit extra out of him by stepping up further in trip,' Schutz said. 'He did need all of the 1,800m today to win and had it been 1,600m he would have run second so, with that in mind, he might find a little more at 2,000m.'
