Marc Jacobs pops up with a walk down memory lane for fashion anniversary

It was a throwback fashion event on Monday night at Harbour City in Tsim Sha Tsui as Marc Jacobs unveiled its pop-up store.

Celebrating its 10th anniversary, the New York fashion brand reissued some of its classic items, including the scoop-neck skull tee and the Shadowland floral tee, and showed them at a fashion show led by celebrity model Mandy Lieu.

Robert Duffy (pictured), the president of Marc Jacobs, was at the event sharing a toast with special-guest actors Ella Koon Yan-na and William Chan Wai-ting. Duffy said the pop-up store, which will be open until April 24, was a good way to showcase Marc Jacobs' anniversary line.

'It's an attractive set-up and it's easily accessible,' he said.

Chan, Lieu, and Koon expressed their love of the brand 'I've been wearing this brand since I was a teen,' the 25-year-old Koon said.

The pop-up store resembles the cubicle shops in Mong Kok shopping centres, with small, square stalls, each storing an item, and with a clean, all-white Marc Jacobs backdrop.
