A Hong Kong government delegation travelled to Beijing yesterday to visit the National Nuclear Safety Administration to exchange views on energy safety and development following the Fukushima nuclear crisis in Japan. Led by Secretary for the Environment Edward Yau Tang-wah, the delegation was joined by power firm representatives, members of the Energy Advisory Committee and nuclear safety specialists from Hong Kong. Officials from the Observatory, Security Bureau, Health Department and Electrical and Mechanical Services Department also joined the delegation.
