Friendly advice for Aaron Kwok to tie the knot
It seems not only Aaron Kwok Fu-shing's long-time girlfriend, Lynn Xiong Dailin, wants him to tie the knot; his actress friend Anita Yuen Wing-yee is also eager to see the singer-actor settle down.
'I've always wanted him to get married and have children so that he can understand what it's like to be a family guy,' Yuen said.
She wasn't being entirely unselfish. Yuen is hoping Kwok would not hang out with her singer-actor husband Julian Cheung Chi-lam so often if he got married.
Yuen (pictured, left, with former actress Lelia Chow Mei-fung) was one of the guests at celebrations for the 16th anniversary of Chow's communications firm on Monday. Celebrities and socialites, including Candice Yu On-on, Janet Ma and Angie Chiu Nga-chi, were out partying at Kee Club.
'When you have children, you need to spend time with them,' Yuen said. 'I'm sure my husband wants to hang out as well, but if Aaron gets married, he will appreciate spending quality time with his family.'
Unfortunately for Yuen, there's no sign Kwok will start a family soon.
'It's unlikely that he'll get married this year,' she said. 'I actually just ran into him at a hair salon before coming down here. He's back in town for a week, so you can imagine what my life's going to be like in the coming week.'
