Now TV scores with Spanish soccer deal
PCCW's pay-television service, Now TV, has extended its exclusive contract to broadcast top Spanish soccer matches in Hong Kong until the 2014-15 season. The new deal will allow subscribers to watch more live 'La Liga' matches, including those featuring Real Madrid and Barcelona (pictured), from next season, also showing games that start at 10pm. Financial terms of the contract were not disclosed. Janice Lee, managing director for TV and new media at PCCW, said: 'La Liga's popularity among Hong Kong football fans will grow by leaps and bounds' because of the new programming schedule.
