Two student activists who caused damage to six fences worth a total of HK$20,000 at the site for Guangzhou-Shenzhen-Hong Kong Express Rail Link were placed on good-behaviour bonds yesterday. Lam Kwan-hit, 21, and Chan Nin, 27, admitted in Tuen Mun Court that they pushed down the fences, owned by an MTR contractor, during a protest at the Yuen Long village site on March 1. The two were bound over to keep the peace for a year on bonds of HK$2,000.
