A team of customs officers raided several jewellery shops in the Lane Crawford luxury department store in Pacific Place, Admiralty, yesterday after a tourist filed a complaint that diamond jewellery bought at one of the shops was not of the high grade that was advertised. Six officers interviewed staff at four shops in the store. No arrests were made. A related operation was carried out at a shop in the IFC mall in Central.
