Driver arrested after chase, scuffle

An unlicensed driver was arrested on suspicion of furious driving, drug-driving, possession of an illegal drug, assaulting police and driving without a licence after a 3-kilometre car chase that ended when he crashed his car into two parked vehicles in Yuen Long on Thursday night. His passenger was also arrested for assaulting police in a scuffle in which three policemen were injured. Last night, police were looking for another man who fled. The incident occurred at 9.45pm when police saw the car speeding on San Tin Highway near Pok Wai.
