Whyte can send fans home with a big smile

Jockey Challenge bettors can take part in an age-old Anzac Day tradition - and might as well flip the coins to determine the winner of what promises to be a close showdown between Hong Kong's two best riders.

It's called two-up in Australia, but here in Hong Kong Brett Prebble is heads at $1.70 and Douglas Whyte is tails at $3 in today's Challenge coin toss.

At the odds, punters will be hoping the coins come up tails, and Whyte looks the man to be on at the slightly longer opening quote of $3.

Lucky Supreme appears a genuine chance in the opening griffin race of the season and can get the ball rolling for Whyte from the outset, with Fantastic Guy a good each-way hope in the second.

Adoration deserves a win and should be too strong for his opposition with the blinkers on first time in the BMW Performance Race (1,200m) for trainer John Size.

Real Generous and Prosperous are on debut and Merry Towkay has drawn well, but it is the final four that will get Whyte across the line. Goodview Successor, Brave Kid, Crown Witness and Paganini's Soul are all huge chances for Whyte and will give his backers plenty of confidence throughout the afternoon.
