We are all familiar with the uber-fit, Wing Chun-master side of Donnie Yen Ji-dan. The martial arts star is in fact quite a master of romance as well. Yen took a break from his tight filming schedule on the mainland and came back in town to throw a surprise birthday party for his wife, model Cissy Wang, who turned 30 last week.

The couple's celebrity friends such as singer-actress Miriam Yeung Chin-wah and her husband Real Ting Chi-ko, actor Ray Lui Leung-wai, Chapman To Man-chat and his wife Kristal Tin and filmmaker Peter Chan Ho-sun were invited to the party at Wan Chai's Grand Hyatt hotel. To echo the theme of the night - 'Bling Bling', Yen showed up in a silver blazer and dyed his hair with silver highlights. Wang couldn't help crying when Yen sang a song he composed for her called My Cecilia. Among the lyrics: 'My Cecilia, walking hand in hand with me, walking through eternity, I'll be with you faithfully.'

While it might sound a bit clich?d to you, the song overwhelmed his wife. 'I have never cried in front of so many people. This is the first time in my life,' Wang said.
