Real estate body puzzled by request

The Real Estate Developers Association has rejected government calls for it to investigate controversial comments by Cheung Kong Real Estate director William Kwok Tze-wai last November, which could have led homebuyers to believe a project his firm was selling at the time - Festival City in Tai Wai - had immunity from government measures to combat speculation. The association said it was puzzled by the government's request.
