Huawei sues ZTE over trademarks

ZTE

Huawei Technologies and ZTE Corp, the mainland's two-largest telecommunications equipment makers, are set to fight over patent and trademark-infringement lawsuits filed in Europe. Huawei yesterday sued ZTE in Germany, France and Hungary for allegedly infringing its patents related to data card and 4G mobile technologies. It also accuses ZTE of using its trademark on some data card products. Huawei said the aim was to 'resolve this dispute through negotiation so that our technology is used in a lawful manner'.
