Apart from performances in concert halls in the city, the Hong Kong Sinfonietta brings good music to different audiences at unconventional times or venues, or in unusual formats.

You may find the orchestra performing chamber music during lunch hour in the foyer of the City Hall, at the Hong Kong Arts Centre, under the 'Good Music This Lunch' series, or presenting a variety of offerings at ArtisTree at Island East during its two-week residency in November. Highlights include the opening concert featuring the orchestra with Yi-Jia Susanne Hou, winner of the Long-Thibaud, Lipizer and Sarasate international violin competitions; the new multimedia commissioned work Twelve Contemplations on Jesus Christ and Mystical Love by Samson Young; and chamber concerts featuring Australian violinist James Cuddeford, Hong Kong pianist Mary Mei-loc Wu and more.
