Green Sense wants project density cut

An environmental group is urging the Town Planning Board to reduce by more than a third the building density of a planned high-rise development atop Tai Wai MTR station in Sha Tin to avoid a 'wall effect' that could block air flow in the area. Green Sense wants the project to be reduced to six 39-storey blocks instead of eight 49-storey blocks. It said it had collected more than 8,000 signatures from residents in support of its call.
