Olympic heroes to launch games

The 3rd Hong Kong Games, a biennial sports event featuring competition between 18 districts in athletics, badminton, basketball, futsal, swimming, table tennis, tennis and volleyball, will start tonight at 8pm at Siu Sai Wan Sports Ground. Olympic gold medallists, gymnasts Yang Wei and Zou Kai, will officially launch the games by lighting a cauldron with other elites athletes after a torch relay. More than 3,000 athletes will compete in the three-week event.
