7 hurt as Dragonair flight hits turbulence

Five air hostesses and two passengers were injured when a Dragonair flight from Beijing was hit by turbulence yesterday. The Civil Aviation Department said the pilot of flight KA905 requested priority landing at 11.04am. The Airbus 330 took off at 8am and was due to land in Hong Kong at 11.45am. The plane, carrying 135 passengers and 14 crew, landed safely at Chek Lap Kok airport at 11.34am. The injured, six of them women, were treated at Princess Margaret Hospital.
