No ducking and diving on film set

Olympic gold medallist turned actor Tian Liang says his wife is watching him closely while he is filming. Promoting Andrew Lau Wai-keung's new film, Beautiful Life, in Shanghai, he said his wife kept tabs on him while the romantic movie was being shot. 'My wife has a lot of spies. So I need to watch myself. We also set some ground rules before filming started,' said Tian (right), who plays a young man with autism.

The former diver, who won gold in the 2000 Sydney Olympics, married mainland singer Ye Yiqian in 2008. After retiring as an athlete in 2007, Tian joined the entertainment industry.

The 31-year-old said hoped to make action films, although Ye thought it was risky.
