Join the race

You may not own a Gran Turismo sports car but you can dress as if you do, thanks to Intermezzo's latest collection, which honours iconic Italian car race the Mille Miglia. Expect chic, casual clothes and sporty details. Looks such as the khaki straight-leg trousers (HK$1,890), worn with a burgundy polo shirt (HK$1,190) and a lightweight jacket (all far right; HK$2,790), epitomise the collection. We also like the green and white striped polo shirt (HK$1,190), worn with white trousers (HK$1,890) and racing cap (all right; HK$890). Intermezzo is at Harbour City, Tsim Sha Tsui, tel: 2175 4123.

Young designer Petar Petrov has put forward a clean and modern collection for spring-summer. Imbued with a sense of fun, the pieces are well cut but casual. A soft, summery palette of pale blue, yellow and teal is underscored with burgundy, navy blue and black. Standouts include the pale green jacket (far right; HK$7,290) and Petrov's take on the classic navy blue blazer (right; HK$9,900). Petar Petrov is at Harvey Nichols, The Landmark, Central, tel: 3695 3388.

Go casual

Massimo Dutti's latest accessories line is full of chic, casual pieces that work well with the season's trends. Whether classic items, such as the navy blue canvas and brown leather carry-all (far left; HK$1,690) and the plaited brown leather belt (left; HK$490), or those that are a little more unexpected, including the classic deck-style loafer in bright blue (left; HK$1,090), the items are versatile and elegant. Massimo Dutti is at IFC Mall, Central, tel: 2805 0588.
