Ferraris' decision to switch to all-weather races paying dividends

Revelation would be far too strong an expression to describe Darpana's season, but at least the rising six-year-old has been able to justify himself since turning to the dirt surface. He came here as a Class Three horse but, after 18 outings on the turf without a placed run, Darpana (Weichong Marwing) was switched to the all-weather track by David Ferraris and the result has been three wins for the season, the latest in the Peacock Handicap. He's even been better at jumping out of the gates lately. 'The worry now is that he's back up to Class Three and that might be tougher,' Marwing said.
