Top of the hill

The oldest mode of land transport in Hong Kong is the Peak Tramway (396 metres above sea level). It was built in 1888, providing a short cut from the 554-metre high Peak to Central's business district. The Peak Tramway is one of the oldest and the most sloped forms of transport in the world.
