O'Brien focuses on compliance with anti-competitive conduct prohibitions and merger filing requirements. He advises on competition law in Hong Kong and on the mainland, and has helped big companies implement compliance programmes.

Chen will divide his time between Tully's offices in Beijing and Shanghai. His practice is focused on acting for law firms to recruit senior-level lawyers - particularly those with a mainland background.

Ulf Loleit

Loleit started his career with BASF in 1997. He has held several senior positions in finance and controlling within the group. Currently, he is the vice-president of credit risk management in Ludwigshafen, Germany.

Wang will handle sales and operations in the mainland. He has 10 years in product sales and planning, marketing and corporate operations within the nation's wine industry. Before joining the group, Wang was the chairman of Beijing Zhongbang Tianhua Investment Advisory.

David Fike

Fike will be based in Hong Kong and will be responsible for activities such as business development, telemarketing, internet and product development. He was most recently senior vice-president, global accident and health at Metlife in Tokyo.

Dane Chamorro

Chamorro will manage a team of 10 analysts and consultants advising on a range of projects involving political and business risks across Asia-Pacific. He will be based in Singapore. Previously, he was managing director of China and North Asia based in Hong Kong.

Jackie Chien
Executive director, head of equity syndicate, Asia-Pacific ex-Japan
Daiwa Capital Markets

Formerly with Citigroup, Chien will be responsible for managing and developing Daiwa's equity syndication business in the region. Based in Hong Kong, she has nine years of experience in capital markets, with seven in equity syndication.

Jimmy Lam
S.I. Partners Asia

Lam joins from Adfest where he is festival president of the Asia Pacific Advertising Festival. His previous roles include regional executive creative director at Dentsu Asia and chief executive of Lintas Hong Kong. Lam was the first Hong Kong creative to judge at the Cannes Advertising Festival in 1994.

Ella Huang

Huang is responsible for due diligence, financial modelling and portfolio management. Her previous experience includes roles at Somerley Group and Bain Capital, Shanghai. Huang is a graduate of Shanghai University of Finance & Economics and Farmer School of Business, Miami.
