In a report, 'Call to relax adoption laws with more children waiting,' on page A1 of the South China Morning Post yesterday, we incorrectly reported that the government has been urged to ease the rules for child adoption.The call by Mother's Choice was for relaxing the rules relating to fostering, not adoption. We also wish to clarify that expat couples have traditionally accounted for a significant share of adoptive parents, not foster parents.
