The show's not over
There's been a lot of talk about what will happen next year, when the December 21 solstice marks the end of the 5,125-year great cycle of the ancient Mayan long count calendar.
Some believe the world will end; others say it will be the beginning of a new cycle.
This Mayan prophecy is the subject of 2012 The Golden Gate, a mixed-media show combining theatre, drums, ritual dance, music and art.
It will be performed on Friday and Saturday by the HKICC Lee Shau Kee School of Creativity and the Taiwan Mobius Strip Theatre.
The audience will become participants in what organisers say will be a spiritual theatre experience.
Young Post has eight tickets to give away - four for each of the two days. For a chance to win tickets, send an e-mail with your name and daytime contact number by Thursday to Agnes Chan, of the HKICC Lee Shau Kee School of Creativity, at firstname.lastname@example.org.
