Hotel Indigo Shanghai on the Bund

The InterContinental Hotel Group has selected Shanghai to be the home of its first Hotel Indigo in the region. The boutique-style outlets are known for their innovative design with an eye for local culture, and the Shanghai branch is no exception.

Standing at the Shiliupu Dock on the South Bund, Hotel Indigo Shanghai was designed by the prestigious interior design firm, HBA (Hirsch Bedner Associates), which enriched the hotel's look with a healthy amount of Old Shanghai and traditional Chinese elements.

The building includes 184 rooms, 21 River View Suites and two Bund Terrace Suites, all equipped with free Wi-Fi.

A lot of thought has been put into the five meeting rooms on the fifth and sixth floors, which come in different styles as well as sizes, ranging from 35 to 139 square metres.

Depending on your needs, they can be set up as boardrooms, workshops, classrooms and banquet rooms. Projectors, conference phones and other facilities are available upon request. There is also a public espresso bar on the fifth floor, and lunch can be arranged for all-day meetings.

The hotel offers an all-inclusive package for group meetings with a minimum of 20 people (618 yuan - about HK$740 - per person, plus 15 per cent service fee). Or you can just rent a room.
