Perfect harmony

Perry So Pak-hin and Anna Christina Graber were engaged in Celle, Germany, on July 5 last year.

They met at Yale University when Graber, from Dallas, Texas, was studying for her bachelor's degree in history and Hong Kong-born So was studying comparative literature.

Graber, 25, who is pursuing a doctorate degree in Russian history at Yale, and So, 29, who is associate conductor of the Hong Kong Philharmonic Orchestra and a frequent guest conductor worldwide, will marry in New Haven, Connecticut, on July 30, followed by a Chinese reception in Hong Kong on November 24.
