Zac Purton has had just three rides for Peter Ho Leung in his Hong Kong career, but the win on Mochi may help cement the relationship which has now got a 25 per cent strike rate. Purton had little luck with the gelding from a wide gate with the blinkers on last start, but made use of the better draw to score a comfortable 13/4-length win. 'I haven't had many rides for Peter, so it was good to get a win on the board with him and I think this young horse has plenty of upside,' Purton said. 'Mochi is only three and had a handful of starts, so I think he can develop into a nice horse next season.'
