Less than a week after the closing of this year's Cannes International Film Festival, Hong Kong's French Chamber of Commerce celebrated a night of films and red carpet fashion at its annual gala dinner in the Grand Hyatt's ballroom.

The night couldn't have been more French - with celebrity French-Chinese model Lisa Selesner taking the emcee's slot, three-star Michelin chef Mathieu Pacaud preparing dinner paired with wines specially imported for the occasion from Saint Emilion, and models trotting down the runway in the latest Kenzo designs.

Charity live auctions were also held at the May 27 dinner party in aid of the Hong Kong International Film Festival, to promote French cinema to Hong Kong students.
