A spot of social networking with champagne, canapes and a misty fragrance to match

Our expectations of network service providers have risen in recent years, but it must be hard to top a collaboration with a prestigious concierge service.

Select clients of CSL's high-end 1010 brand were invited to The French Window restaurant in Central on Thursday for a paring of champagne and canap?s, one of a few exclusive events being jointly presented by 1010 and Quintessentially.

Staff were equipped with iPads to check guests in at the door. The crowd, mainly 1010's corporate clients, savoured caviar rolls and other rich finger food served on plates resembling an artist's palette, which even featured a slot to hold a champagne glass. A fragrant mist was pumped into the room, which was said to enhance the taste of the champagne.

Even Mark Liversidge, 1010's chief marketing officer, admitted it was the first time he had experienced champagne, canap?s and matching aroma.

For an even more decadent touch, models prowled the room showcasing Audemars Piguet watches.

The tempting package comes with your monthly 1010 phone plan, but you can expect a hefty bill.
