Although La Seine is the name of a major French river, a chain of top-quality buffet restaurants run by South Korea's Lotte Hotel Group has borrowed it.

The latest and grandest La Seine outlet also happens to be in one of their top hotels - the luxurious Lotte Hotel Seoul in downtown Seoul. This outlet can also claim the title as one of the most luxurious buffet restaurants in the area.

There used to be another La Seine on an upper floor in Lotte Hotel Seoul, but it closed down last year and was relocated to its present venue where it reopened this January. In its new incarnation, the restaurant is ideal for working lunches, and it is one place that would surely impress a client. It has 11 private rooms that can accommodate up to 60 guests - perfect for corporate events or functions.

The buffet offerings are virtually endless, with over 250 dishes per sitting (breakfast, lunch and dinner are all buffet). The eight live cooking stations include a Japanese cuisine section, a noodle bar, a Western area, a cold food zone, a Korean grill section, a dessert spread, a drink-serving counter, plus a comprehensive Asian food area.

Whatever the tastes of your client, you can be sure there will be something to please everyone, with selections ranging from ice-cream sandwiches served up on a cold granite slab to premium beef sirloin grilled Korean style.
