Ape art to educate MTR users about primates' rights

Fifth-grade students at Hong Kong International School (HKIS) and the Jane Goodall Institute are collaborating on an art exhibition at the Admiralty MTR station from July 1.

The student artworks, which depict apes in different artistic mediums, were created in response to a visit by conservationist Jane Goodall to the HKIS last September. The exhibition will educate both HKIS students and MTR users about the Great Apes Project, which urges the United Nations to give great apes basic legal rights.
