John Moore combined with his lightweight rider of choice, Jeff Lloyd, to bag the Vacheron Constantin Handicap (1,400m) with rising star Victory Master. The son of Byron turned in a terrific debut finish to snatch second behind Longwah Supreme, and converted with another powerful finishing burst with 115 pounds second-up. 'He's all leg at the moment, and still got a lot of developing to do, but that was a very nice win and, if he pulls up alright, he will have another run,' Moore said. Lloyd rated him nicely from gate four before driving him clear to score a 1 1/4-length win over Dr Win. 'There's no doubt he's a very nice horse in the making,' Lloyd said.
