Summer Colours Competition

Budding artists, step forward!

Summer is the perfect time to try new things and practise your creative skills. To get you in the mood, we are holding a Summer Colours Competition.

You can start right now by sending us your works of art: photographs, collages, paintings, drawings, illustrations and even cartoons. The sooner we get them, the faster they will be published. Don't forget: the theme for summer is colours.

Each Monday over the summer holiday, we will publish the best entries received the previous week. Readers can vote for their favourite entry. The deadline each week is noon on Wednesday, starting from June 29.

The best entry each week will receive a bag of goodies, such as CDs and books, make-up for girls and movie tickets for guys.

Winners will also receive a Winter Holiday subscription gift voucher to Young Post.

Last but not least, each weekly winner will qualify to attend a photography workshop held in the last week of August by a South China Morning Post photographer.

To participate, send your work to [email protected] or mail it to Summer Colours, Young Post, 4/F, Morning Post Centre, 22 Dai Fat Street, Tai Po Industrial Estate, Tai Po, NT. Remember to include your name, age, school, contact details, and a few lines explaining your work.
