'A Bespoke Journey' launch celebrates Andre Fu's boutique approach to finer points of design

Our home-born design golden boy Andre Fu launched his first book, A Bespoke Journey, on Thursday at the Ben Brown Fine Arts gallery in the Pedder Building.

The founder of AFSO mingled with an artsy crowd of guests at the launch cocktail. Guests were taken down memory lane thanks to an exhibition of large photos of Fu's previous design projects on show inside the gallery.

Since graduating from the University of Cambridge in 2000, Fu has worked on projects such as The Upper House hotel, the Shangri-La Hotel Tokyo, the home of actress Michelle Yeoh Choo Kheng and one of the Ben Brown Fine Arts galleries.

The coffee-table book featuring photos and sketches of 12 of his projects is available at major bookstores and the Lane Crawford Home and Lifestyle store.
