Denise Wong, principal - assurance, BDO

Wong has more than 14 years' experience in auditing financial statements of Hong Kong and US-listed companies, as well as SOX404 audits. She is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, Hong Kong Institute of Certified Public Accountants, Institute of Chartered Secretaries and Administrators, and Institute of Internal Auditors, among other professional groups.

Tan Siah-joo, director of corporate development, Metrojet

Tan will be responsible for the company's strategic planning and development. An aircraft engineer by training, he has more than 30 years of experience in the commercial aviation industry. '[Tan] will be leading Metrojet's corporate development and strategic planning to further enhance Metrojet's position as a leading business aviation company in Asia,' says Bj?rn N?f, CEO of Metrojet.

Paul Williams, principal - specialist advisory services, BDO

Williams has led teams on a range of roles including accelerated initial public offerings and quoted company acquisitions. He has assisted many Chinese companies to access capital markets, and has worked on projects involving Asian companies listing in London, Germany, Hong Kong and Singapore. He has also assisted Chinese and Asian companies in M&As, private equity investment and fund-raising.

Peter Chu Ka-leung, director of engineering, Renaissance Harbour View Hotel Hong Kong

Leading the engineering department, Chu will be contributing his innovative ideas in energy saving and green technology, which will support the hotel's environmentally friendly programmes. 'I am confident that Chu will be successful in leading the engineering department of our hotel with great success,' says Karl Hudson, the hotel's general manager.

Amy Leung, principal - technical and training, BDO

Leung has many years of experience in serving both publicly traded and privately held organisations, covering manufacturing, trading, tourism, logistics, hotels and construction. She worked with international audit firms and subsequently left public accounting for commercial experience. She later rejoined the profession with BDO where she was involved in designing and training for professional staff in Hong Kong, Shanghai and Taiwan.

James Alba-Duignan, regional sales director, Hogg Robinson Group (HRG) Asia-Pacific

Based in HRG's regional office in Hong Kong, Alba-Duignan will be responsible for driving the company's sales initiatives across the Asia-Pacific region and working with the multinational sales teams.

Prior to joining HRG, Alba-Duignan - who has more than 15 years' experience in the region - ran his own consulting business specialising in training, coaching and business advice for various clients, including large multinationals. He also worked for a travel management company, delivering global relationship management initiatives across Asia.

'With [Alba-Duignan's] broad industry experience and keen understanding of the corporate travel environment, he adds to the depth of our growing regional sales team,' says Greg Treasure, managing director for Asia-Pacific.
