No, that wasn't Brett Prebble winning the Melbourne Cup, it was the humble Class Four of the 18 Districts Cup, but the Australian jockey revelled in the highlight moment of his day. A recent stable transfer to David Hall, Amazing Journey had struggled most of the season but the change of scenery obviously worked wonders and he bolted up. 'I can't say I've done anything in particular to turn his form around but I did freshen him up and he had become so well weighted - I think his last win was off a rating of 63 and he was down to 49, so it doesn't come as a complete surprise,' said Hall. 'His trials for me have been good and I think the cut in the ground helped.'
