Bright kite

What you'll need:

Construction Paper
Tissue Paper
Crepe Streamers
Scissors
Glue
Hole Puncher

Steps:

1. Cut half circles out of crepe paper.

2. On the long side of the paper, glue a row of scales, slightly overlapping each other.

3. Continue to add in additional layers of scales, overlapping each previous row until you're a little over halfway full.

4. Glue a thin black strip of construction paper on top of the final row.

5. Cut out the two eyes for your carp.

6. Glue the eyes on your construction paper.

7. Cut a variety of long coloured crepe paper.

8. Turn your paper over and glue on your crepe paper tails.

9. Punch holes on each side of the paper.

10. Roll up your paper (with the scales on the outside)

11. Glue along the edges to keep it together.

12. Tie a piece of yarn to each hole.

13. Hang up your kite in a windy spot, and enjoy the view!
