What I'm listening to: Africa Hitech's 93 Million Miles. I continue to be super impressed by this production duo. 93 Million Miles is a follow-up to last year's Hitecherous EP and shows so much variety. Both sound like a soundtrack to a progressive multimedia science curriculum taught to kids in some alternative future. They're making beautiful dance music, which is very difficult to pull off.

What I'm reading: The God Delusion by Richard Dawkins. I used to think I was agnostic, but for the past decade or so I've become convinced that not only is there no God, but that religion is actually holding our race back. This book is a pretty fantastic smackdown and helps me be more comfortable being public with my atheism.

What I'm watching: Mad Men. I've enjoyed catching up on back seasons during the past few months. It's an engaging TV drama set in early 1960s Manhattan - convincing and interesting portraits, with a slow-brooding existential yearning pervading each character. Day-to-day entertainment with surprisingly deep and poignant long-term stories of pain and alienation.

Where I'm surfing: AsiaMiles.com. Trying to get my gold up. We all need to shine.
