The Rody balance ball has captivated many children over the years, but this season the Italian firm has its sights set on fashion-savvy adults.

Hong Kong-based fashion designer Johanna Ho Chi-yan rolled out a collection in collaboration with the brand last Wednesday, accompanied by children hopping on the brightly coloured inflatable horses. The pre-autumn collection comprises a sleeveless top, harem pants and a dress featuring print silhouettes of the horses, in a playful grey and black.

Style icon Hilary Tsui Ho-ying also turned up at the event wearing the black top and pants. She looked chic, but it was probably the most light-hearted outfit in her dramatic wardrobe.

The designer brought along her two daughters, Natasha and Katrina, aged four and two, to model the collection. 'Of course it was very pleasant designing for Rody; playful and meaningful at the same time,' a bubbly Ho said. 'My daughters have loved hopping and bouncing on the toys at home since they were infants,' she said. The lively little ones certainly seemed to be having fun, but were still well behaved - taking no notice of the almost 20 flashing cameras.
