It's amazing how far a woman will go to get her hands on the latest 'it' bag. Some have been known to fight for places on waiting lists and be ready to spend a small fortune to get one. So a lavish cocktail party combined with the chance for some window shopping is something no one would want to miss.

The Chloe store at the DFS Galleria in Tsim Sha Tsui's Sun Plaza drew a crowd of stylish ladies on Friday afternoon keen to check out the uber-exclusive - only 150 worldwide - special-edition Chloe Marcie bag in leopard-print lambskin leather.

Those who turned up in Chloe gear included models Kathy Chow Man-kei and Terri Holladay, and actress Irene Wang Yuen-yuen.

Chow, who just returned from a holiday on the island of Corsica, looked radiant in an open-back leather dress. The top model is a fan of the hip day bags - she's got a beige one and seemed to be quite excited about it.

'I like the pattern. This one is quite light and the colour is very modern,' she said.

As she busied herself going through the French fashion house's latest stock, the media wondered if her long-time boyfriend Julien Lepeu had put a rock on her finger, as rumoured.

'I'm waiting for this moment to come, but I really don't know when. No one can rush it,' she said.
