Try the 'Sport of Kings'

If you would like to learn more about the 'sport of kings', here is your chance. China's largest polo facility, the Goldin Metropolitan Polo Club in Tianjin, is holding its Junior Equestrian and Polo Programmes (JEPP) in the summer. Participants will not just learn to ride but also how to care for the horses, as well as how to play polo from horseback. Daily fun activities and competitions will enliven the atmosphere. Young polo players from England will be sharing tips with beginners.
The price for all meals and activities is 30,000 yuan (HK$36,240) for nine days per student, including a shared deluxe room at their five-star hotel. Parents can join for just 1,200 yuan per day for a shared room and 1,500 yuan for a single room. Call 8206 0776 for details.
