World record holders gather in HK
Ten Guinness World Record holders will be showcasing their quirky talents in Cityplaza, Taikoo Shing, until August 21.
The four-week programme, which runs from Thursday to Sunday each week, will feature performers from the mainland, Hong Kong and the United States. There will be different acts each week, including Wang Weibo, who holds the record for the longest time spent balancing on four fingers, and Jin Linlin, the record holder for the most hula hoops spun simultaneously.
Next week, Hong Kong illusionist Avon Lee will be on hand to perform magic tricks. Lee is the record holder for the most teleportation illusions performed in one minute, which he set in June.
Another highlight is the five-man Acrodunk team from Houston, in the United States. They hold the record for the most off-the-glass passes for a slam dunk in 30 seconds. They will try for a new record: the most front-flip passes over a person or obstacle in 30 seconds.
