Dolphin friendly

LET'S hear it for the Home Environment Club who read this magazine's article on the plight of the endangered Yangtze River baiji dolphin and decided to do something about it.

The youngsters organised a 'spook sale' for Halloween at which they raised $361, which was later increased to $500 - all of which is now in the hands of the Dolphin Conservation Fund at Ocean Park. The children are now operating sponsored non-television watching and non-sweet eating days and hope to raise more money.
