British singer Amy Winehouse, who died on July 23, was buried last Tuesday in a private ceremony in front of family and friends at Edgwarebury Cemetery. Those in attendance included singer Kelly Osbourne and Mark Ronson, who produced Winehouse's Grammy-winning Back to Black.

After a popular run in Hong Kong, the 'Pixar: 25 Years of Animation' exhibition, featuring artworks and sculptures of Pixar characters, makes its way to the Museum of Contemporary Art in Shanghai tomorrow. Exhibition curator Elyse Klaidman has confirmed that the mainland exhibit will debut a preview clip for Pixar's latest release, Cars 2.

Toronto

The 36th Toronto International Film Festival has announced its 2011 line-up, and it's diverse and star-studded. Films directed by Francis Ford Coppola (pictured, Twixt), George Clooney (The Descendants by Alexander Payne), Lars von Trier (Melancholia), and even Madonna (W.E.) are on the bill. The festival runs from September 8-18.

Lyon

'Indian Highway', an exhibition of works by some of the leading lights of India's arts scene, closes today in France. The exhibition, which looks at the rapid economic, social and cultural developments of India through artworks and sculptures, has already passed through London, Oslo, Denmark, and Hong Kong. It'll continue on through Europe.

Tokyo

Thousands of music fans from around Asia are spending this weekend in the lush greenery of the Naeba Ski Resort for Fuji Rock 2011. Coldplay and Faces were the headliners on Friday and Saturday respectively, with the Chemical Brothers, Wilco, Yellow Music Orchestra, Buddy Guy and more playing on today's final day.
