If summer holiday budgets are tight and you're still looking to entertain the children while experiencing international cuisines, the City Garden Hotel's Garden Cafe has some tasty answers to your prayers.
Until the end of September, the North Point hotel will be offering a 'Kids Art Workshop' lunch buffet and 'Savour the World' international dinner buffet.
Chocolate latte art classes will alternate on a weekly basis with cupcake-making workshops, from 2.30pm to 3.30pm on Wednesdays and Saturdays.
With a minimum spend of HK$1,000 on August 24 and 27, artists from the Oscary Wine & Art art-jamming cafe will help children create works of art to bring home as a souvenir. A maximum of 20 children aged from four to 11 can attend each workshop.
Every night, the 'Savour the World' buffet offers foodies a range of delicacies from around the world. There's a half Boston lobster with fresh fruit salad from the United States; cooked-to-order pasta and tiramisu from Italy; tapas and paella from Spain; and smoked duck breast and cr?me br?l?e from France. Don't forget to leave room for the six-metre 'dessert buffet runway'.
