Kris Van Assche has collaborated with Eastpak for the Kris Van Assche x Eastpak collection. The series of casual bags incorporates the trademark style the young Belgian designer has cultivated through his runway collections, mixing minimalism with chic streetwear. Break with tradition

JM Weston's Claridge collection gives classic designs a subtle twist. Traditional oxfords get a modern makeover, with rich burgundy leather and triangle and diamond perforations, instead of the typical small round holes (left; HK$7,150). Free and easy

Salvatore Ferragamo offers a relaxed alternative to the sharp, cigarette-style suits favoured by many designers this season. Inspired by lazy summer days and an artist's lifestyle, the collection is aimed at the free-spirited and is full of roomy trousers and easy shirts that ooze elegance. Stripes feature prominently, whether thick or thin, vertical or horizontal. Looks such as the double-breasted striped silk and cotton jacket (HK$23,900) worn with loose cream trousers (both above; HK$7,950) and the grey trousers with subtle stripes (HK$6,950) worn with a single-breast jacket (HK$17,500) and a loose-fitting silk shirt (all right; HK$5,800) epitomise the collection.
